I was born in Athens, the capital of Greece—a small yet beautiful country with a unique culture. My roots lie in the heroic island of Crete, from a gallant and big-hearted father and a self-sacrificing mother who bathed me in their love.

A true child of theirs, I came to cherish my family, children, people, nature, the ancient Greek civilization and the language itself—which I have devoted myself to as a classical philologist. I hold dear work, kindness, generosity, innocence, honesty, justice, sincerity, and truth.

It is in truth, sensitivity, and detail that I focus on every image that awakens my senses and makes my heart beat in my chest. It is precisely that moment I long to capture, to preserve FOREVER in time: a smile, a tear, a hug, a kiss, a sunrise, a sunset, a storm, a spring…
